Our client had a passion for baking and entertaining so we designed this home by starting in the kitchen. We often start the design of a home plan by pinpointing the clients most important space and working out from there. The functional kitchen design included chef grade appliances, prep sink, expansive island and carefully designed cabinetry. The traditional craftsman design of this home began in the kitchen and continued throughout. The artistry of the trim can be seen in the dining room and hallway wainscot, entryway pillars and cased openings. The fireplace was a unique design in that we locally sourced the real wood mantel and built the surround entirely out of herringbone tile. The final product produced a carefully designed home that will last the test of time.
